Mahdist War: The Black Watch
And last, but by no means least, of the units for the first phase of my Sudan project, some of the 1st Battalion, the Black Watch:
Once again these are from the excellent Perry Miniatures Sudan range.
I was already interested in the period but it was the figures that sealed the deal. I am planning a second phase centred around Khartoum (so mostly Egyptian and Sudanese troops) but I am trying to focus on getting my 15mm Marlburian project off the ground at the moment.
You're making it awfully hard to resist this wonderful range. Great work Sir!
