A few weeks ago some old friends invited me up to play an all day game of 28mm Napoleonics using their extensive collection of figures.
The game was the Battle of Lützen in 1813 using the second edition of the Shako rules.
I had command of Ney's troops in the centre of the table and was engaged by the allied troops from the first turn. I managed to hold them up a little (although my dice rolling was particularly bad!) but their numbers forced me to fall back before our reinforcements arrived.
It was a hard fought and bloody engagement. We failed to replicate Napoleon's performance historically though.
Here are a few photos from the day, apologies for the poor quality as I only had my phone with me:

Artizan Afghan Irregulars
With Artizan Designs gradually expanding their colonial ranges I was looking to see whether anything from their 2nd Afghan War packs might be usable for my Indian Mutiny collection (with the possibility of expanding out to the Afghan war later using some of my Perry Sudan figures in Indian service dress). I believe Mike Owen, the sculptor Artizan figures, also did the Mutineer Miniatures range for them and so these are a good fit for style. Here are some photos of the Irregular Command, Swordsmen and Swordsmen II packs:
As with the rest of my Mutiny collection, the figures were painted by Roger and only based by me.

4Ground Russian Rural Cottage
I picked up this 4Ground building some time ago to go with my Ukranian Rural House for my Polish and Eastern Front games; however, it has taken me rather a long time to get around to putting it together:

1st Madras (European) Fusiliers
Most of my Indian Mutiny collection is from Mutineer Miniatures but when Iron Duke Miniatures started producing their own range sculpted by Paul Hicks I found it difficult to resist purchasing some of them. Initially I have limited myself to a single unit - the 1st Madras (European) Fusiliers or Neill's Bluecaps as they were known:
Of course whether I can hold myself to a single unit remains to be seen!
The figures were painted by Roger and only based by me. The flag is from Iron Duke themselves.

Putting it all together - The Chicago Way
So after assembling all those 4Ground buildings I felt I needed to put on a game with them. So I pulled out a copy of The Chicago Way from Great Escape Games - which is essentially a variant of their Dead Man's Hand western rules with additions for vehicles and automatic weapons.
I took control of some local Gangsters whose hideout was about to be raised by some Prohibition Agents supported by the police.
Here are a few photos from the game:
My gangsters managed to foil the raid (largely through some judicious use of my Hitman - complete with violin case!) and a lot of fun was had.

4Ground (Another) Oldfield Tires
I thought I could do with an additional building so I picked up another "Oldfield Tires" with the sideway this time:
