Mexican Adventure: Austrian Infantry

Our next international contingent is from Austria - first the Austrian Legion Infantry:


The figures are from the Freikorps range (available from QRF), painted by Roger, based by me and with flags from Warflag.

      Thanks Ray - I do like the variety of troops you can have for the Imperials and it will give a visually interesting game that’s for sure.

    Another great unit and they look more French than Austrian, but love their hats:)

      Thanks. I'm not sure why they also had a similar colour scheme to the French but it is confirmed by at least 3 sources I have! The hats are great aren't they?

      Thanks. It's a fascinating period with lots of colour plus there are many more options in 28mm as well as 15mm now.
